In the Kabalistic, Jewish tradition, Tzedakah encompasses kindness to oneself and to others. True Tzedakah is like a shared flame. Its light warms not only the person who receives it, but the person who has lit the candle. People involved in the act of Tzedakah experience the joy of true kindness and the joy of truly making a difference in another person's well-being.
Here at Chabad Hebrew Academy, we give people many opportunities to experience Tzedakah. These include our "brick-by-brick" campaign that pays for the school's infrastructure, scholarship funds to help worthy families, and car donations.
