Our CHA football team finished its first season in exciting fashion on Wednesday night. They played North Clairmont, one of San Diego's top youth teams, and tied them 12-12. NC took an early lead only to watch CHA take a 12-6 lead on touchdowns by Lance Wolmer and Uriel Green. NC scored a late TD (Touchdown) to tie, but CHA kept them out of the end-zone on their PAT (Point After Touchdown) attempt. CHA finished the season 2-3-1 and impressed a lot of opponents. The team will celebrate their season next Tuesday with a pizza party after-school. Please come by and congratulate the team on their great season.
Next up for the boys will be basketball (grades 3-6). We need everyone who is interested to sign up in the office.
Our girls CHA volleyball team will play its tournament game next Thursday in P.B. We would love to get a good turn out and pack the P.B. gym. Directions are in the office and on the sports blog. Lets send our girls out in style!
