The trip was designed to provide students with an authentic encounter with science and technology in a fun hands on experience. Surrounded by computer consoles, communication headsets, robotic arms, instrument dials, and other tools, students were required to work in teams, communicating through electronic messages, microphones and PA Systems in order to solve problems and make decisions. Science experiments were conducted in the simulated space environment using the scientific protocols utilized in the CHA laboratory environment.
