Creative expression is celebrated at CHA. Our dedicated and experienced arts teachers establish a “safe space” for students by fostering a spirit of openness and inclusion. Through programs and classes in both visual and performing arts, students have many options to explore and develop their innate creativity. Drama, fine art, music, choir and public speaking are all offered at CHA. Our drama calendar is stacked full of performances and concerts for the holidays, special events, and showcases of the academic curriculum. Ranging from elaborate whole school productions to poetry recitals and productions of original works, our students enjoy a variety of opportunities to blossom on stage. Students can be found in the art studio during recess and lunch working and preparing. While public schools are cutting these valuable experiences, the arts are an integral part of the CHA experience.
